Vinchhavad

Vinchhavad, Vichhavad or Vichavad (विंचूर) was a small princely state on the Saurashtra peninsula. It currently belongs to the state of Gujarat.

Title of the prince: Thakore.

Dynasty: Majumdar family of the Gaekwad, caste Nagar Brahmins.

Religion: Hindu.

Area: 10.36 square kilometers. With 1 village.

Population: 414 people (in 1941).

Current head of the dynasty: unknown.

History: During the British Raj, it was classified as a Sixth Class state within the Sorath prant division.

Varsoda

Varsoda (वरसोदा) was a princely state located in the Mansa district, Gujarat, on the bank of the Sabarmati River. During the British Raj, it belonged to the Sabar Kantha Agency of the Bombay Presidency. Today, it is part of the state of Gujarat. Title of the prince: Thakore . Dynasty: Chavda . Religion: Hindu. Area: 28 square kilometers, and 4 villages. Population: 4,051 people (1892). Current head of the dynasty: Thakore Jayvijay Sinhji Chavda , Thakore saheb of Varsoda. History: The Varsoda dynasty descends from Surajmalji, the son of Jaya Sinhji, who received a part of the Ambasan estate upon his father's death. It belonged to the Chavda dynasty, one of the most important Rajput clans. Varsoda paid tribute to the state of Baroda.
