Vadod (Gohilwar)

Vadod (वालोड) was a small princely state consisting of a single village, with two associated rulers, located in the Prant (district) of Gohilwar, now Kathiawar, in India. Title ot fhe prince: Unknown. Dynasty: Gohil (Rajput). Religion: Hindu. Area: 6 square kilometers, 1 village. Population: 814 people (1901). Current head of the dynasty: Unknown. History: the village was founded in 1751 by Kanaji Gohil, of the Gohil dynasty and a descendant of the late Maharaja Sartanji Raol of the state of Umarala, Gohilwad.
